Sharing a Loan File & Send to Lender
Ready-made links into a loan file for borrowers, brokers, lenders and title — and one-click submission to lenders on LendingWise.
The share icon on a loan file gives you ready-made links, each for a specific recipient: borrower, co-borrower, broker, loan officer, or a lender or investor. Copy a link and send it however you like — the recipient doesn't log in and no account is created.
Depending on the link, the recipient can:
- Enter or update application data
- Upload documents against the required-docs checklist
- Check the loan's status
- See a read-only view of the file
For lenders and investors there are Quick App and Full App versions: borrower info redacted, read only, or read only with access to uploaded documents — plus versions that let the lender submit an offer, which lands on the file's Offers tab.
Share links don't expire and can't be revokedA link keeps working after you send it. Treat it like the documents it opens: send it only to the person it's for, on a channel you trust — never a group chat or shared drive.
Don't see the share icon?Sharing is a user permission. Ask a manager in your company to enable it on your profile.
Send to Lender
Brokers can submit a loan straight to a lender that also uses LendingWise. The application and documents move across together — no re-keying, no e-mail attachments — and the lender receives a complete file in their own pipeline, ready to review. Use the Send to Lender tab on the loan file.
Shopping a deal to many lenders?Use the Marketplace to match the deal against lenders' programs and send financing requests with an offer link.
Full detail: in LendingWise, open Loan Origination → User Guide → Documents & Communication.
