Sending a Term Sheet or Pre-Approval
From loan terms to a signed term sheet, without leaving the loan file.
A term sheet is the first thing you send that a borrower judges you on. In private lending the first credible offer often wins, so the path is built to be same-day.
The path
- Enter the terms you are offering on the Loan Info tab — amount, rate, term, points, fees. Default fees from your loan program pre-fill here.
- Generate the term sheet from the bottom of the Loan Info tab. It fills in the borrower, property and terms from the file. Fields left blank on Loan Info simply don't appear.
- Or use your own template. Custom term sheets, pre-approval letters and LOIs built in Doc Wizard or ordered as Custom Docs are generated from the Docs tab.
- Read the generated document once before it goes anywhere.
- Send it for signature from the Docs tab with E-Sign — the borrower signs from a link, no login needed — or attach it to an e-mail from the file's composer.
- Move the file status on, so your pipeline and automation know where the deal is.
Put e-sign markers in templates you send oftenA Doc Wizard template with e-sign markers places its own signature fields, so a repeat document needs no setup at send time.
